Thoughts

The sound of the cricket calling
Intensifies the silence of the night.
The silence--awe-inspiring and deafening
Forces me to think,
Thoughts-which play hide and seek through the maze of utter confusions
Thoughts-which get lost in the light of the day
Only to surface in the slow dark hours of the night.
Nights bring me peace
Nights bring me bliss
Empowers me to face the rude, harsh reality of tomorrow.
The odds seems to crush me down
But I amaze myself –what makes me survive?
Someone tells me “Fight”
Yeah, I am doing it, I Will. (for how long ? I dunno)
